Bangladesh National Information Service is an initiative under the A2I (Access to Information) program under the supervision of the Cabinet Department of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to ensure public access to information and An integrated form or web portal of about twenty five thousand government department web sites including all Unions, Upazilas, Districts, Departments, Directorates and Ministries of the country with the aim of ensuring the receipt of paid services from government departments.
Bangladesh National Information Broadcasting was launched last June to easily deliver various services of the government to the people with the help of digital technology. World's largest digital in Bangladesh as part of government efforts to bring government services to people's doorsteps Web portal launched. Its name is Bangladesh National Information Bureau (www.bangladesh.gov.bd). More than 50,000 government officials have received training in data entry.It was planned and implemented by the Access to Information (A2I) programme. It is good to say that the website address www.bangladesh.gov.bd was there before. But then its range was less.
